Event Recap – A Family Reunion to Cherish
The 2024 Family Reunion was everything we hoped it would be—full of laughter, hugs, and plenty of stories to pass down through the generations. Here’s a look back at the moments that made this weekend unforgettable.
Key Highlights
Meet & Greet
Friday, 6:00 PM – Hotel Lobby The weekend kicked off with a joyful reunion in the hotel lobby, where family members arrived from near and far. There were bear hugs, happy tears, and lots of, “My, how you’ve grown!” Some cousins met for the very first time, while others jumped right back into conversations as if no time had passed. Laughter filled the room as we shared stories of family vacations, legendary pranks, and memories that spanned generations.
Banquet Dinner
Saturday, 7:00 PM – Grand Ballroom The banquet dinner was the heart of the weekend, bringing everyone together for a night of food, fun, and reflection. The Grand Ballroom was alive with chatter as relatives swapped stories across tables, catching up on years gone by. Between delicious courses, we shared heartfelt toasts, honored family elders, and celebrated new milestones—from recent marriages to the newest additions to the family tree. A family slideshow took us down memory lane, with childhood photos sparking belly laughs and misty-eyed smiles.
Picnic
Sunday, 12:00 PM – Central Park On Sunday, the family gathered under blue skies for a laid-back picnic in Central Park. Kids ran around playing tag, grandparents shared wisdom from lawn chairs, and everyone soaked in the warm, easygoing atmosphere. There were frisbees flying, plates full of homemade treats, and impromptu family games—because what's a reunion without a little friendly competition? As we sat together under the shade of old trees, the sense of belonging was palpable, reminding us just how special it is to be connected through family.
